Ticket booking and sale regulations regarding performances from the repertoire of Opera Nova in Bydgoszcz

 

§1

General provisions

  1. Booking and sale of tickets for performances/events starts from repertoire announcement on the Opera Nova website.
  2. Booking and sale of tickets is conducted in the ticket office, the Department of Promotion and Customer Service, situated in the building of Opera Nova in Bydgoszcz, 5 Focha Street, phone no. 52 325-15-55, 52 325-16-65, and online by bookmark “Online Tickets” or “Repertoire” on the Opera Nova website.
  3. Information on ticket prices is available on the Opera Nova website and printed repertoire; it is also provided by phone in the Department of Promotion and Customer Service and the ticket office. Prices printed on tickets are gross prices that include VAT, taking into account tax regulations.
  4. Payment for the ticket may be made by cash, payment card, BLIK or electronic bank transfer to the account of Opera Nova in Bank Millennium: 98 1160 2202 0000 0000 6087 6822  (for international payments: IBAN: PL 98 1160 2202 0000 0000 6087 6822; SWIFT: BIGBPLPW).
    Payment should be made the latest within 14 days from booking.

    When the date of performance for which the ticket has been booked is earlier than 14 days, then payment should be made the latest 5 working days before the date of performance.
    The time of payment for money transfer is the day on which payment is received to the account of Opera Nova.

    Bookings not paid on time will be automatically cancelled.

    Ticket is valid from the time of purchase to the end of performance, to which it applies.
     
  5. The Organizer/Seller reserves the right to finish booking/sale anytime, without giving reasons.
  6. Tickets paid by electronic bank transfer to the account of Opera Nova are ready for pick-up in the ticket office; they can be picked up before the performance. If you want to arrange a different form and time of ticket pick-up, please contact the Department of Promotion and Customer Service, by calling 52 325 16 55, or by e-mail: bilety@opera.bydgoszcz.pl.
  7. Opera Nova issues invoices for purchased tickets in accordance with the current regulations.
  8. Any comments and complaints regarding sale and booking of tickets should be sent by e-mail to the following address: bilety@opera.bydgoszcz.pl. Complaints can be lodged no later than 14 days from the emerging situation/event, which is the reason of complaint. Complaints will be reviewed within 14 days from receiving them, and the decision will always be binding and final.
  9. These regulations can be changed anytime. The Opera undertakes to publish such information on the website at least 3 day ahead.
  10. The content of these regulations is available in the Department of Promotion and Customer Service, the ticket office and on the following website: www.opera.bydgoszcz.pl.

§2

Online sale

  1. The Organizer of online ticket sales is Opera Nova in Bydgoszcz, 5 Marszałka Focha Street, 85-070 Bydgoszcz.
  2. Online sale is conducted via the Opera Nova website: www.opera.bydgoszcz.pl in the bookmark “Online Tickets” or “Repertoire.”
  3. Purchase of tickets online is possible exclusively after acceptance of these Regulations.
  4. Tickets purchased online cannot be returned or exchanged. The only exception is cancellation of performance by the Organizer. Information on returns will be provided by the Department of Promotion and Customer Service or by e-mail: bilety@opera.bydgoszcz.pl
  5. Payments for tickets are handled by the online service Tpay.com administered by Krajowy Integrator Płatności S.A. registered in Poznań, plac Andersa 3, 17th floor, 61-894 Poznań, listed in the National Court Register under the number KRS 0000412357 kept by the District Court of Poznań – Nowe  Miasto and Wilda in Poznań, 8th Economic Department of the National Court Register, REGON number 300878437 and NIP number 7773061579.
  6. Processing of sale/booking requires completion by the Buyer the procedure of ticket purchase/booking. The Organizer is not responsible for the effects of providing incorrect or inaccurate information on the registration form. Providing of inaccurate information results in cancellation of booking.
  7. The Organizer/Seller is not responsible for disruptions in data transmission during ticket purchase/booking.
  8. The Buyer has the right to purchase/book no more than ten tickets in one order.
  9. Tickets booked online should be paid for in the ticket office or by wiring funds to the bank account of Opera Nova (see §1 sec. 4).
  10. Online sale is not subject to fiscal obligation; therefore, the Buyer will not receive a fiscal receipt. In order to receive a VAT invoice, please mark the correct field (VAT invoice) and complete the required data during ticket purchase.
  11. The Buyer can choose from the following forms of pick-up of tickets purchased online:
  • printout of ticket after receiving an e-mail (ticket is a confidential print and cannot be copied);
  • showing the ticket on display of a mobile device;
  • pick-up in the ticket office, no later than 15 minutes before the beginning of performance, to which the ticket applies; please provide the transmission code, first and last name of the Buyer.

§3

Discount tickets

  1. Discount tickets – after showing an appropriate ID / document – are available to retirees, pensioners, the disabled (with a significant degree of disability), children up to age 7, young people in education, students under age 26.
  2. A carer of a disabled person, ensuring his/her safe movement within a building, is also entitled to purchase a discount ticket.

 

§4

Group tickets (sale and returns)

  1. Booking of group tickets (ten and more) requires a confirmation in writing, which should be sent to Opera Nova no later than within 5 days from booking; however, an order can be sent to the following e-mail: bilety@opera.bydgoszcz.pl  

    Sending of the booking confirmation is tantamount to acknowledging and accepting the terms of booking specified in these Regulations. Failure to send such confirmation results in cancellation of booking. Booking regarding performances that take place in a time shorter than 7 days before the performance have to be confirmed the latest on the next day. 
     
  2. Payment for group tickets is made in the form of a single payment, within 14 days from the date of booking, but no later than 7 days before the date of performance, and the time of payment is the day on which payment is received to the account of Opera Nova.
  3. Cancellation, changes or free cancellation of booking as well as return of tickets can take place no later than within 14 days before the date of performance. The above requires a request and confirmation in writing of its acceptance by an employee of Opera Nova. Within a period that is shorter than 14 days before performance, there is an obligation to pay the entire amount that is due for the tickets.
  4. Group tickets that are paid for should be picked up the latest on the day of performance (30 minutes before the performance begins) in the ticket office.
  5. In the case of group bookings for more than 30 people, the Opera can offer a special ticket for the group Guardian / Organizer.
  6. School groups with 10 participants are entitled to 1 special ticket for the group Guardian / Organizer.


§5

Passes

  1. Passes constitute a separate category of heavily discounted tickets. These tickets entitle to enter the auditorium with no guaranteed seats. They are sold before the performance.
  2. Passes are not subject to return.

§6

Returns of tickets purchased individually, complaints

1.      Tickets purchased in the ticket office or the Department of Promotion and Customer Service can be returned the latest 5 working days before the date of performance, based exclusively on an intact ticket along with an enclosed fiscal receipt or VAT invoice.

§7

Information for Spectators

  1. The facility is adapted for use by disabled people.
  2. Opera Nova has three parking spaces for people with disabilities.
  3. After the start of performance, late Spectators will not be admitted to the auditorium until the  next intermission. In the case of performances without intermission, late Spectators will not be admitted to the auditorium. In the described cases, the Spectators will not be entitled to refund for purchased tickets.
  4. Spectators, before entering the auditorium, have to use the cloakroom, in order to live their outerwear and possible luggage.
  5. The use of mobile phones, taking photographs, filming and recording during the performance is prohibited, Opera Nova also bans spectators from bringing food and drinks to the auditorium.
  6. A complete smoking ban, including electronic cigarettes, covers the entire building of Opera Nova.
  7. Persons who behave in ways that endanger safety, disrupt public order, violate generally accepted norms of behavior in public places and fail to comply with these Regulations may be asked to leave the Opera building.

§8

Information clause (GDPR)

1.   Your Personal Data Controller is Opera Nova in Bydgoszcz, ul. Marszałka Focha 5, 85-070 Bydgoszcz.

2.   Contact with the Personal Data Inspector: rodo@operanova.bydgoszcz.pl

3.   Personal data is processed for the following purposes:

  • conclusion and processing of ticket sale agreement,
  • customer and booking services,
  • fulfilment of legal obligations,
  • pursuit of claims,
  • marketing (only in the case of consent).

4.      The legal basis for data processing is:

  • art. 6 sec. 1 letter b GDPR – performance of the contract,
  • art. 6 sec. 1 letter c RODO – legal obligations,
  • art. 6 sec. 1 letter f RODO – legally justified controller’s interest,
  • art. 6 sec. 1 letter a RODO – consent (when applicable).

5.  Data recipients may include:

  • entities operating ticket sale system,
  • payment operators,
  • entities providing IT services,
  • entities authorized based on the law.

6.  Data will be stored:

  • throughout the duration of a contract and period required by the law,
  • until the expiration of the statute of limitations for claims,
  • until withdrawal of a consent – in the case of marketing.

7.  A data subject has the right to:

  • access data,
  • rectify data,
  • delete data,
  • limit data processing,
  • object,
  • transfer data,
  • withdraw its consent (when it served as basis).

8.  One has the right to lodge a complaint to the President of the Personal Data Protection Office.

9.  Providing personal data is voluntary, but necessary for conclusion and performance of a contract.

 

§9

Final provisions

  1. In certain situations, when the Opera company’s interest requires presentation of its portfolio to specific persons or institutions, also in the scope resulting from contracts signed with sponsors, patrons and cooperation agreements, Opera Nova reserves the right to limit in a necessary range ticket sale to designated performances.
  2. The Opera reserves the right to introduce a ticket sales / booking limit for a specific performance.
  3. Any changes to the rules of ticket sale will be announced every time on the Opera Nova website.
  4. The Management reserves the right to changes in repertoire.
  5. The Management reserves the right to cancel performance / event without giving reasons.
  6. These regulations can be changed anytime. Opera Nova undertakes to place information about this fact on the website at least 3 day ahead. The customer unconditionally accepts such form of notification about changes.
